Your adventure with us
Sahaja is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘natural or spontaneous enlightenment.’ You can experience it through activities like yoga, dance, art, journaling, and meditation.
These Sahaja practices help you reach a calm, peaceful state called thoughtless awareness, or flow, where your mind quiets and you feel balanced and centered.
They also guide you to connect with your true self and inner strength, helping you discover your deepest wishes and what truly matters to you.

Meals
All our food is served with the intention to nourish and replenish the body. Meals are prepared by our professional on-site chef using fresh and local produce. Every morning and evening we offer healthy vegetarian/vegan meals. Any dietary requirements, such as lactose or gluten, can be catered for on request.
Our nutritious brunch is served and eaten together in silence after an energising morning practice to cultivate a sense of peace and calmness at the beginning of the day. After a full day of activities and relaxation, dinner is served. Breathtaking views, delicious food and excellent company creates a group culinary experience you cannot miss.
Filtered water, herbal tea, coffee and fruit is available all day.
Meet the teachers
Naoise and Mona’s friendship formed naturally as they spent several months together in the desert of Mexico in 2022. They dove deeper into the subtle aspects of yoga during an advanced teacher training, enhancing their teaching skills and learning both from their teachers and from one another.
‘Sahaja’, or intuitive and creative flow, is a cornerstone of the practice that Mona and Naoise share. Their goal is to combine their skills and passion to create a transformative experience for their guests. They wish to use Sahaja practices to help their guests be fully present, reconnect with themselves, and feel powerful and free.
Mona
Mona is an Austrian yoga teacher and personal trainer who has been working in the health and wellness field for the past 10 years. She has always been drawn to movement and sports as a way of expressing herself and connecting with her endless energy and creativity. At the age of eighteen, her passion for the mind-body connection brought her to Bali, Indonesia, where she became a certified yoga teacher. Her journey continued when Mona traveled to Mexico to attend an advanced yoga teacher training and explore the world of Shamanism. She recently visited Rishikesh, India, to further deepen her knowledge and participated in several silent meditation retreats. Mona believes that yoga is about moving intuitively and freeing ourselves from limitations, enabling us to grow into the happiest, brightest, and most authentic versions of ourselves.
Naoise
Naoise is a an Irish yogi and a 500hr certified teacher who weaves together her love of intuitive movement, the Irish language, and community to create practices that feel both grounding and expansive. With a background in Sports Science and Health, she brings a strong foundation of knowledge to her classes, guiding students to explore their bodies safely while moving with freedom and flow. Her approach is heartfelt and inclusive. Yoga, for her, is not about striving for perfection or the ‘ideal pose’, but about connection, curiosity, and the courage to meet yourself exactly where you are. Through her teaching, Naoise invites students to soften into presence, honour their individuality, and discover the joy of moving and living in alignment with their most authentic selves.
Isabelle
Isabelle is a passionate chef from London who followed her culinary dreams to become a yacht chef, working across the Mediterranean. She embraces a philosophy rooted in fresh, seasonal produce sourced from local markets. Her expertise ensures an authentic and flavourful experience, always using top-quality local ingredients. For Isabelle, cooking is pure joy—a creative journey through diverse cuisines, crafting dishes that ignite the senses. Now settled on the island of Mallorca, she has developed a deep appreciation for plant-based cuisine and is excited to bring her vibrant, flavour-packed creations to Sahaja Retreat.

This retreat will be hosted from 29-2nd October 2025. Check in is from 3pm onwards on October 29th and check out is at 10am on Nov 2nd.

We will practice a mix of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga, with an emphasis on Sahaja movement and intuitive connection.

You don’t need any prior yoga experience to join the retreat. Classes are appropriate for beginner, intermediate, and advanced yogis.

The retreat staff can assist in English, German and Spanish. All classes and activities will be held in English.

We offer shuttle transportation to and from Faro Airport at a price of €40 each way. You are also welcome to make your own travel arrangements to the retreat. It’s a 50 minute drive from the airport to Moodz Resort.
Check in is from 3pm onwards on Oct 29th and check out is at 10am on Nov 2nd.
